After 2 months of use it is already extremely scratched and worn. I wanted to have a less smooth screen for my iPad so I could draw a bit easier, and sure this product provides that. But at the same time it has too many drawbacks for me to recommend it at all:
- It blurs your screen slightly so that you cannot see the smallest details very crisply
- It's almost impossible to apply without bubbles
- most importantly: It wears out extremely fast
It's supposed to be a screenprotector, but I'm scared to bump my iPad with this thing on it. Especially since simply drawing on it with the Apple Pencil has already scratched and worn it out extremely within two months of use. Dissapointing especially considering its price. I think mostly the idea of this screen is lovely, but the reality does not align with the sales pitch.

After seeing this product on a friends iPad, and viewing repeat adverts / sponsored videos all over YouTube — I thought I’d give it a go.
However, I’m really disappointed. When I received my new iPad the first thing I did was apply Paperlike before even turning it on. Sadly, I’ve been unable to apply both the supplied protectors without a large amount of bubbles and dust - despite following their instructions closely and tentatively. I’ve tried leaving it for 24hrs, and slowly pushing out the bubbles, but once there is a small piece of dust in-between the surface it is impossible to fix, and you end up making it worse, and worse.
I hope that Paperlike will see this, and that they can be more transparent about this on their website and marketing, rather than making it sound perfect with celebrity YouTube endorsements. It isn’t. Despite this I wanted to love the product! The texture and feel is great - but having bubbles all over my device is a complete deal breaker. Why spend all that money on a beautiful device, to have it riddled in ugly plastic bubbles?
Paperlike - please be more transparent to your customers in the future and make them aware that no, it isn’t easy to apply - and there will 100% be bubbles and dust caught no matter where you apply the protector, or how careful you are.

DO. NOT. BUY!…

I work in the Animation Industry and use my iPad for concept art. I was looking for something to add a little grit to my IPad drawing experience so I foolishly bought Paperlike without reading these reviews. Long story short, the cover cannot be applied seamlessly unless you happen to have a clean room that is 100% dust free. And yes you can try to steam up your bathroom, but dust will still get between the screen and the film. What’s more it will dull the screen once on and those little specs of dust trapped beneath the protector will feel like little pebbles as your pencil moves past them... not the kind of grit I was looking for. Seriously, this product is a grift, just live with your slick crystal clear screen, it’s not worth being frustrated with the impossible application process only to get a screen that has a frosty glare and a bunch of bubbles underneath. Anyway, the jokes on me, I threw away money on this...

Better of without it if you write cursive.

I write in cursive completing each word without lifting the pen.
I found the paperlike product to have a surface that stopped the Apple Pencil flowing as a pen would over nice paper.
The finish left me frustrated as it fatigued my hand faster with the rough and jittery surface that also didn’t recognise all of my writing and became difficult with hand gestures and palm recognition.
I tore it off the screen after five minutes. As I have a disability and this made using my iPad harder and not easier as I had hoped for.
Better off writing on the beautiful glass and wish I hadn’t wasted my disability payment on this $60 product which is overhyped.

Bad product and even worse service!

I bought Paperlike for my girlfriend.
She just bought a new Ipad Pro 11" 2020 with a brand new apple pen. She cared for the Ipad with Paperlike very much, but despite no hard presses
paperlike scrathes soon emerged.
I took off the broken cover, thinking something must be wrong, but luckily we got 2 in the package.
It was NOT just the first cover. The second time it was completely scratched within 10 hours use.
I wrote Paperlike to get back my money but that was immediately dismissed and it had to be a mistake in our end and not misleading marketing.
Paperlike feels good, but the quality is just too bad for the price. As students who saved money to buy this, I cannot express my disappointment enough. Sadly this turned out to be a very tedious and bad experience.

I am genuinely gobsmacked that this company has poor Trustpilot reviews. I had nothing but a flawless checkout experience, super fast shipping (2 days), and a fantastic user experience when applying the screen protector. Awesome product, keep it up guys!

The worst online shopping experience I've ever had

I placed the order in tuesday when I didn't get any tracking information in Friday (4 days after I placed the order) I wrote a letter asking what about my order status, in Sunday I got an answer saying that they will figure out, in Monday evening they answered me that they are going to send my order tommorow.
After a week (!!!) they shipped my order. On their website the promised delivery time is 7-4 day, but how are they even going to provide that if they are not bother to send the order for a week! But I was wrong when decided that nothing more can go wrong, I have no idea what kind of cheap and unreliable delivery company Paperlike use, but delivery time took almost a month (!!!), even very cheap 2-4$ items from aliexpress come faster. So instead of 7-4 days promissed on website I got mine order in month and a week!
Stay away from Paperlike!

After a first Fail attempt, Finally this product works and delivers what it promises.

The only place where this paperlike screen is fitting well is in the garbage can. There is a good reason why they provide 2 screens protectors ... I will need 10 attempts to have maybe 1 in a decent way applied.
Don’t buy, just a waste of money. It is overhyped as they sponsor a lot on youtube.
After follow up with Paperlike and good customer service , I have applied the protector screen today succesfully. The process requires some experience and is very sensitive to dust . However once applied without dust and bubbles it delivers. Instead of 2, 3 screens for a beginner might be a better solution. Finally I was able to get it work.

Good product

I bought the screen protector because my colleagues recommended it for note taking with the apple pen. It arrived quickly. I applied it on a half a year old ipad in my home office, which is not very clean. There were no issues with bubbles or dust particles at all. I have been using it now for a few days and I really like the feel of it. If you write continuously without lifting the pen from the screen, there is almost no difference at all. However, the control of the first contact of pen and surface is improved a lot. I really like it. It is expensive and I could have done without it. Still, it makes my note taking more enjoyable.

This is a really terrible product if you use your Apple Pencil a lot. I’ve had my paperlike for less than two months, and it is already so scratched from my Apple Pencil that it is almost unusable.

Love it!

Bought the iPad 12.9" PaperLike screen protector. I absolutely love the texture and the fit! Received my product 3 days after I placed the order, which is excellent.
